BMO Entreprenør has extensive experience in rehabilitation and new construction on Norway’s railway lines. The company performs major works on bridges, superstructures and tunnels for customers such as Bane NOR and Sporveien.
Facilities
BMO delivers new construction and rehabilitation projects in concrete and steel. Its work includes bridges and steel structures for road and rail, as well as excavation, blasting, retaining walls, ground stabilisation and water and wastewater works.
Dam and power
BMO has specialist expertise in the rehabilitation of concrete dam structures. Its experience in construction work, concrete and steel rehabilitation and diving services makes the company a complete supplier for a broad range of projects within dams and power infrastructure.
Surface
BMO provides scaffolding, sandblasting, metallisation and painting services. The company performs surface treatment on steel structures including bridges, cranes, power plants and industrial structures, and also carries out polyurea coating applications.
Diving
BMO performs everything from inspection dives to major underwater construction works. Its divers have expertise in concrete rehabilitation and casting, as well as demolition, remediation and installation of steel and timber structures under water.
Concrete rehabilitation
BMO Entreprenør is one of Norway’s leading players in concrete rehabilitation. The company combines specialist expertise with a substantial, niche-adapted fleet of machinery and equipment, including water-jet systems and under-bridge access equipment.
BMO also has expertise in cathodic protection and has rehabilitated a number of larger bridges, quays and parking structures using this method.
Joints and soft asphalt
BMO rehabilitates and installs a wide range of bridge joints, including Cipec, Transflex, Tensagrip, Olsen joints, asphalt joints and Polyflex. The company is the Norwegian agency for Polyflex, a maintenance-free joint technology with no mechanical parts.
In addition, BMO performs mastic asphalt works, including membrane installation and cast asphalt, and has its own production of membrane and cast asphalt.
Industry
BMO performs rehabilitation work at process plants, including concrete rehabilitation, surface treatment of steel and concrete, and fire protection.
Operation and maintenance
Since 2011, BMO Entreprenør has held operation and maintenance contracts for ferry quays for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, municipalities and port authorities.
Norsk Bergsikring AS
Norsk Bergsikring AS is a specialized infrastructure and safety company headquartered in Stongfjorden, Norway. The company focuses on protection against rockfall, landslides, and avalanches, and provides services to both public and private infrastructure projects, including roles as main and subcontractor. Tronfjell Maskin AS is a specialized construction and infrastructure contractor based in Alvdal, Norway, focusing on road and railway construction and rehabilitation, groundworks, and environmental remediation, primarily for public sector clients. Wimo AS
Through its subsidiaries Wimo Fjellsikring AS and Wimo Utleie AS, Wimo is a Bergen-based niche contractor specialising in rockfall and landslide protection, soil stabilisation and selected groundworks. The company operates throughout Western Norway as both a main contractor and subcontractor. Its services include rock bolting, rockfall netting, catch fences, rock cleaning, shotcrete, drilling and hydraulic rock splitting, as well as the rental and leasing of construction machinery and equipment. Wimo forms part of BMO Fjell alongside Norsk Bergsikring.
