Endúr ASA had in Q2 2019 revenues of NOK 141 million and a positive operating profit before depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of NOK 9.4 million. The order book at the end of the quarter was NOK 818 million.

“We have again delivered a quarter with profitability and continued increase in revenues. The ambitions for further growth are still present”, summarizes CEO Hans Petter Eikeland. He points out that in the further growth process the Board of Directors will focus on measures which will further strengthening the Groups earnings and activity.

“For Endúr ASA, it will be important to prioritize measures that can increase our attractiveness and competitiveness in the markets in which we already have established footprints. At the same time, there will be a strong focus on monitoring existing operations in order to ensure desired profitability”, says Eikeland.

In general, the CEO of Endúr ASA is pleased with the second quarter, both  increase in revenues as well as profit for the Group.

“Within the Energy segment, the positive result for the quarter is related to one-off effects and reversed provisions. The other two segments, Maritime and Aqua, have both delivered solid operations during the quarter with satisfactory profitability. The quarterly figures thus confirm the importance of being present in different segments”, Eikeland states, pointing out the fact that this gives the Group a more robust platform balancing the effect from market fluctuations.

Eikeland considers the market outlook as positive for all three segments.

“We still see exciting growth potential in our three segments Energy, Maritime and Aqua. Seasonal fluctuations will result in reduced revenues in this quarter. For the second half of the year as a whole, we maintain our ambition for continued profitable growth for Endúr ASA”, says Eikeland.
