Endúr is an Old Norse word derived from the word ‘endurnýja’ – which means to renew, to refresh, to change. But endúr also has several other meanings – not least ‘enduring’ or ‘persisting’ – and can be read as a short form of the English word endurance, which means tireless perseverance; to withstand with courage.
The world is constantly changing, so must we. To be able to endure and develop, we must adapt and innovate. Renewal has defined our culture and should continue to do so. At Endùr, we are constantly searching for new ideas, new solutions, new people and new opportunities.
Endúr ASA was formed in 2019 following the merger of Bergen Group ASA with Endúr Fabricom. The merger created a major industrial group, based in western Norway, with nearly 400 employees and an order book of NOK one billion. The new leadership team has now defined three key business areas that will provide a platform for future growth – Aquaculture, Maritime Services and Energy Solutions.
Bringing together the skills and experience of two of Norway’s leading industrial groups, Endúr delivers a new level of flexible problem solving designed to serve the specific needs of clients across a range of different industries.
We are the responsible experts: respectful, helpful, honest and open. Comfortable adapting to different challenges and always fully engaged with our customers’ goals and ambitions.
In an ever-changing world, we constantly turn to the touchstone of our three core values:
We put the safety of our people, our clients and the environment at the heart of everything we do. Every day and everywhere.
Our systems and processes are agile, adaptable, and responsive to outside changes. We apply our thinking differently every time.
We embrace traditional values – and foremost among these is trust. We live by our word and expect our business peers to do likewise.
The launch of Endúr has created a robust and ambitious industrial group with a broader range of competence, and a greater presence in several key market segments and across a much larger geographical area. This will enable us to drive our focused strategy for structural and organic growth in the aquaculture, maritime and energy sectors.
Specialises in the production of fully integrated concrete feed barges and work barges for the Norwegian aquaculture industry.
Offers extensive expertise and experience in the execution of complex maritime services including technical ship maintenance.
Specialises in the modification, fabrication and installation of complex energy industry infrastructure – onshore and offshore.
Across all key sectors, we apply a proven process to ensure that our skills and competences are adapted and applied to solving the challenges that our clients face across different industries. Our AAAA process is designed to ensure that we provide flexible solutions in an ever-changing world. The four key steps are:
We receive the project from the client – and sign the contractual agreement.
Our team reviews the challenge – and seeks to understand every aspect of it.
We then adapt our resources to shape a solution that adds maximum value.
Using our experience and expertise we then apply the solution cost efficiently.
